Salty Dog Cycling

a healthy lust for cycling…

cycling book binge

I just hit up the library (two types of people in this world, people with library cards and people without) and snagged four books on cycling.  I’ll be hammering through them when I can and plan to do a little review on each.

The books are:

  1. Ten Points – A Memoir, Bill Strickland
  2. Pedal Power – The Quiet Rise of the Bicycle in American Public Life, Wray
  3. Cycling and Society, Horton, Rosen & Cox
  4. Bicycling Salt Lake City, A Falcon Guide

It’s important to read/watch cycling when I can’t ride.  I have so much to learn and the inspiration won’t hurt either.

Also, can’t wait till the weekend to hit up the Bicycle Film Festival here in Salt Lake City.   I’ll be sure to get some pictures and post a quick review as well!
